Meet Grace Bell: Sydney based makeup/nails artist and self-proclaimed "un-influencer." Tune in as Grace discusses her creative ventures, favourite ORB fragrance, beauty psychology, book writing and music.

For those who don’t know you, who are you and what do you do?

My name is Grace Bell. I am a beauty artist and a content creator. Within this space, I really do endeavour to be more of an un-influencer rather than an influencer.

What’s your favourite ORB scent and why?

I love Lenny. She's the cool girl. I’m getting notes of orchid, vanilla, femininity, and florals. She says ‘I’m spiritual’ and ‘I do breath-work’. She smells like the end of a fun summer night. It's so gloomy outside at the moment and I wear this when I need to feel just a little spice of summer. She says I'm zen, I'm calm, collected, but in a little bit of a hurricane way.

What is your creative outlet?

I have a background in nail and makeup artistry. I have had an eight-year career within the industry despite only being 25. I love exploring what makes people feel good through my practice. When I'm doing someone's makeup or nails, they never leave me happy because I’ve made them look good. They leave me happy because I’ve made them feel good. That's how I create joy within my industry.

First fragrance memory?

My first fragrance memory is of Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue. I’d wear it on any special occasion - for my Mum's birthday, Christmas, Mother's Day, spending time with my dad. Every time I’d go perfume shopping I’d ask for swatches of it and act like maybe I’d get something different. But it never happened! I still love that fragrance and I think that’s why I love Lenny, because it reminds me of it.

Do you have anything exciting in the works?

I'm actually writing a book about beauty psychology. It delves into where we draw the line with our beauty treatments. What's acceptable? What's not? Where is it too far? There's so much dysmorphia that's sold to us. There's so many silly insecurities that don't matter. Through the book my aim is to help people embrace their true selves as naturally as possible.

If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would you pick, and why?

Love Deluxe by Sade. It's sexy and it suits any time, any place.I've been bumping it so hard lately. There just hasn't been a time where it's not appropriate.
